Strength Training Classes

Currently we run 22 group strength training classes a week at Urban Leoaprd.

We have two different classes on offer.

Leopard Squad - our signature circuit style strength class using kettlebells, dumbells & Olympic weights with an interval style circuit.

Women, Strength & Power - a class for women wanting to build strength & power in body and mind over the course of 12 weeks using 3 phases.

Weeks 1 - 4 Core Foundation (slower pace, lighter weights, higher reps)

Weeks 4 - 8 Strength (heavier weights, lower reps)

Weeks 8 - 12 Power (faster, dynamic movements using bands, think punching, chopping, rowing, jumping, throwing).

  • Monday 5.30pm & 6.30pm (LS)

  • Tuesday 6.15am, 7.15am, 8.15am, 9.30am & 6.30pm (LS)

  • Wednesday 6.15am, 7.15am, 8.15am & 9.30am (LS) 12.30pm (WSP)

  • Thursday 7.15am, 8.15am, 5.30pm & 6.30pm (LS)

  • Friday 6.15am, 7.15am, 8.15am & 9.30am (LS)

  • Saturday 8am & 9am (LS)


 

We screen every person prior to class to make sure we take some one on one time to get to know each person individually and their movement patterns.

In this session we’ll:

  • Asess your movement patterns / compensations / strategies

  • Allocate the correct weights for your current strength

  • Teach you some technique around the big lifts that are in the current 8 week program.

  • Teach you correct shoulder, hip & knee movement patterns to avoid injury

  • Explain the structure of the class and how they run

  • Answer any questions you may have

Payment Policy

Subscription

A weekly subscription of either $35 (1 class), $65 (2 classes) or $75 (3 classes) a week will come out to cover your class / classes.

Cancelling Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, just send an email to Jhoanna, our direct debit manager at -  jhoanna@urbanleopard.com.au

Cancelling Class

Can't make your usual class for some reason? No problem - cancelling your class is easy, you can do it on your phone either by the link in the reminder email or reminder text that you receive 2 days out from the class.

** Please note - cancelling your spot in class will not cancel your subscription. If you'd like to cancel your subscription, you must email us directly so we have it in writing -  jhoanna@urbanleopard.com.au

Missed Classes

Please note: if you miss your usual class you will still be charged.

Your payment reserves your spot in class and because our classes are capped, we can't give your spot to someone else if you don't turn up.

Make Up Classes

But you're welcome to come to a "Make Up Class" so you still get your training in. Make up classes are classes are any class that has a free spot for you to join in replace of your usual class.

Make up classes are valid for 3 weeks. The week before, during or the week after your regular class that you can't make. 

Make up classes can't accrue after 3 weeks to use as credit in the future.

You can book a make up class online via the website on the Book Appointment button. Just write "Make Up" in the notes.

Holidays 

If you are going on holiday and would like to pause your subscription just email Jhoanna, our direct debit manager at jhoanna@urbanleopard.com.au.

But please understand we have a waitlist, so your spot may be offered to someone else on the waitlist while you're away so we can't guarantee that you'll be able to get into the same class when you get home.
